Opened to the public in 2016 November. MinNature Malaysia is the perfect escape for kids and adults alike looking to know more about our beautiful country. The many tiring months to get all the displays ready are worth the wait as MinNature Malaysia is an interesting attraction for those who like scale-size models. It is something like Lego City, but better, if we may say so.

With a floor space of 17,000 square feet, MinNature, located in Sungei Wang Plaza, is the largest indoor miniature and train exhibition in Asia.

The brainchild behind this exhibition is Wan Cheng Huat (Alvin) who aims to bring a different experience to Malaysia when it comes to models and miniature displays. MinNature Malaysia aims to replicate an entire ecosystem of animal life, human beings, and lifestyle activities within a 1:87 scale sizing in its re-creation.

MinNature Malaysia showcases Malaysia’s iconic culture and landmarks such as the kampung or village life, Dataran Merdeka, and even Ipoh’s own unique landmarks.

Located at Level 1, you will be able to experience over 100 heritage and iconic buildings around the country in miniaturized form and over 10,000 other figurines that depict the Malaysian life in this 13,000 sq ft exhibition area.

The exhibits feature a series of miniature collections found nowhere else. From Taste of Malaysia, Minis in the glass wall, The people of Malaysia to Heritage architecture. They are all made with state of the art technology that worth paying a visit to. Not only that, we like that many attractions are animated so visitors of all ages can enjoy the sights, sounds, and splendor of every work of art.

Starting from Ticketing Counter, there are 19 exhibits and zones in total, that will make you go ‘Wuhuuu!’. They have built more than 1,000 miniature buildings with more than 5,000 figures of numerous different themes and wonderlands.

One of them is Merdeka Square which was made based on the originals and recreated by 10 3D printers. Alvin’s teams will be continuously striving to create new diorama and models, such as the Malaysia iconic building, Petronas Twin Towers.

All of the zones provide a 360 degree view, and there are more than 40 trains circulating along the 2,600 feet long railways around the exhibition. Therefore, that made them Asia’s largest miniature and train exhibition.

Besides taking pictures, there are exhibits that will require you to interact with it so that it will come alive. How to know they are interactive? Look out for the red button!

Experience an active volcano in miniature form and see how it reacts. Don’t forget to watch out for trains and detect where they are located from time to time. I’m pretty sure whether you are an adult or kids, you will be excited with the miniatures!

Look out for Batman and Spiderman! (Yeap, they do exist here at MinNature). This is a really fun quest to do when you come with a group of people.

Maybe it will be easier to be on a very high building to capture all the treasure hunt list? Naah, at MinNature, all you need to do is just ‘squat’ and you can see the whole village clearly

Witty and fun, there are hidden surprises that you need to look out for. A treasure hunt is to discover something new, but there is also funny miniature to look out for.
